There are many strategies to improve your Article Marketing efforts but just knowing the basics will put you
head-and-shoulders above your competition. Here are 7 Article Marketing Tips to help you succeed...
1. Do some keyword research before writing your articles or posting to your blog. You'll find a lot more success if your articles/posts are written around keyword phrases that are already being searched upon in the search engines.

Just enter in your "main" keyword and click the button to
start the research. The tool will tell you the keyword
phrases which are currently getting search and will also tell you their daily traffic estimates.
Find 10-20 keyword phrases that directly relate to your
website, blog or affiliate product and you've got the topics for 10-20 articles or blog posts.
2. Write your articles Title. Make sure the Title is
interesting to read and contains the main keyword phrase you are targeting in the article.
Also, be sure to put your keyword phrase as close to the
beginning of the article as you'll get better search engine placement that way.
3. Make sure the body of the article is interesting to read and gives real value to your target audience. Just don't give away the entire "farm" or the reader will have no reason to click the link in your Bio Box and visit your site!
4. Without overdoing it, be sure to place your primary keyword phrase several times throughout your article. I'm not going to give you some specific "keyword density" percentage, but if you can include it a few times and still sound natural, it will help your search engine placement.
5. Write really great "Bio Box" copy and make sure to include a Call-to-action to visit your site.
The whole goal is to get targeted website traffic so don't
overlook this...
Write your Bio Box copy in "third person" and if possible,
give something away for free at your site. In my experience, the most effective use of an Article Marketing campaign is to drive your traffic back to a squeeze page where you offer something for free in exchange for your visitor's name and email address.
6. Distribute your article to as many directories as possible and forget what you've heard about Duplicate Content.
